A movie premiere, a panel discussion and a lot of great food!
Almost 300 people showed up for the mini Blues and the Spirit Symposium at Dominican University, River Forest, which featured the movie premiere of America's Blues, a panel discussion and awards ceremony. The reception that immediately followed featured music by Carl "CC" Copeland and Rodney Brown. There also was an after-party at Rosa's, where revelers were treated to performances by Corey Harris and the Jimmy Burns Band.
